Are you a Solicitor to Senior Associate level lawyer who has a background in mergers and acquisitions and equity capital markets? If so, our client wants you to join their dynamic team.

About the Role

Our client currently has a vacancy for a Solicitor (2+ years) to Senior Associate (0-3 years) to join their Equity Capital Markets (Mergers & Acquisitions) team, based in Sydney.

The nature of the work will include:

• Being responsible for a variety of challenging complex legal work
• Being a part of a team who specialises in equity capital markets transactions
• Public mergers and acquisitions
• Advising both corporate clients and investment banks
• Manage strategic industry related relationships and networks to enhance development of the practice
• Being actively involved in industry issues

About You:

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A background in mergers and acquisitions and equity capital markets
• Proven experience in managing the performance of project teams and coaching and mentoring the members of the team
• The ability to allocate resources to ensure the efficient and effective utilisation of solicitor skill sets
• To present at internal and external industry and professional development programs and to contribute to law reform initiatives to enhance your development and that of your team
• The ability to provide commercially sensible and innovative solutions to your clients
• Enthusiasm to be involved in business development activities
• The ability to present at industry related programs and being involved in strategic relationships and networks
