About the Role

Our client currently has a vacancy for a Solicitor, 4-6 years, to join the Commercial Litigation Team, based in Brisbane.

The nature of the work will include:

• Working closely with the friendly Commercial Litigation team
• Working with specialists from other practice groups
• A variety in interesting work
• Acting in most of Australia's large and complex commercial and regulatory disputes, investigations and public inquiries

About You:

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A background in commercial litigation
• First rate experience in drafting documents (including writs, statement of claims, default judgements, defences, witness statements, affidavits, complaints, agreements etc)
• Excellent analytical, communication and research skills
• The ability to deliver prompt and commercially astute advice
• A strong commitment to client service
• A team focus
• Enthusiasm to be involved in business development activities
• The ability to present at industry related programs and being involved in strategic relationships and networks
