About the Role

Our client currently has a vacancy for a Solicitor (2-4 years) to join their Funds team (Acquisitions & Mergers), based in Sydney.

The nature of the work will include:

• Varied, challenging and complex legal work with a range of clients
• Creating innovative solutions for local and foreign participants in the financial services industry, including fund Managers, issuers of structured products and stockbrokers

About You:

To be successful in this role you will have:

• General Mergers and Acquisitions experience
• Similar experience gained in a similar environment
• Excellent analytical, communication and research skills
• High level client service and well developed relationship management ability
• The ability to facilitate effective teamwork by developing strong internal relationships
• Good document drafting skills
• The ability to identify and think through complex legal issues and to provide practical and effective solutions
• The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude
