This leading Australian company seeks a Senior Associate with a background in insurance to join this premier in-house team.

Working directly with the General Counsel you will play a pivotal role in managing the organisation's risk profile, as well as handling insurance disputes.

Based in Sydney, this position has arisen as a result of growth within the organisation.

Suitable candidates will need to demonstrate:

• 5 -9 years PQE;
• a working knowledge of insurance issues across professional indemnity insurance, insurance risk management re building contracts, leases, service contracts, and body corporate issues;
• Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholder;
• flexibility in travel;
• leadership skills and the ability to manage others;
• strong academics; and
• experience in a well established firm.
