About the Role

Our client currently has a vacancy for a Finance and Major Project Lawyer and Senior Associate, to join their Finance Practice, based in Melbourne.

The nature of the work will include:

• Corporate finance, property and construction finance, debt restructuring, securitisation and structured finance
• Work on high profile deals across sectors such as energy and water, economic infrastructure, social infrastructure, resources and telecommunications sectors

About You

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have at least 3 years of experience in a banking and finance practice
• Have the ability to demonstrate an understanding of major projects, project finance and infrastructure deals
• Be a solid banking practitioner with clear and effective communication skills
• Be a strong project manager to ensure you can provide clients with commercially insightful tailored solutions in time frames presented
• Be a mid level practitioner who is seeking to develop and refine their skills in a fast paced, dynamic area of law by being open to learning and being mentored and immersing themself in this area of law
