About the Role

Our client currently has a vacancy for an Employment and Industrial Relations Lawyer and Senior Associate, to join their HR/IR practice, based in Melbourne.

The nature of the work will include:

• Working on some of the most complex and challenging work in Australia with companies such as State and Federal government departments and agencies, global banks, ASX listed companies, media and entertainment companies, international transport companies and enterprising SMEs
• Work with four very experienced partners
• Be exposed to a genuine mix of litigation and advisory work across the whole spectrum of employment law, industrial relations, discrimination law and employment law

About You

To be successful in this role you will:

• Be a lawyer with at least 3 years relevant Australian HR/IR experience who is passionate about the area and keen to progress to Senior Associate in the future
• Be a Senior Associate who is looking to consolidate your experience and learn from and with the best practitioners in the market
• Enjoy working with a high performing collegiate team and be able to build and sustain good working relationships both internally and externally
• Senior members will be keen to share their knowledge and mentor and guide junior lawyers
