About the Role:

Our client currently has a vacancy for a Corporate Lawyer, preferably with a minimum of 4 years experience as a Corporate/Commercial Lawyer to join their team, based in Melbourne.

The nature of role will be broad based and cover issues such as:

• mergers and acquisitions,
• intellectual property issues;
• capital markets,
• reconstructions and joint ventures
• corporate governance,
• ASX compliance,
• due diligence investigations and
• trade practices advice;

About You:

To be successful in this role you will have:

• 3-4 years experience as a Corporate/Commercial Lawyer
• An interest in working across a variety of practice areas including Corporate, Commercial, Health and Life Sciences and Intellectual Property
• Excellent drafting and research skills
• The ability to effectively identify legal risks for your clients
• Exceptional client service skills with the ability to provide commercially astute legal advice
• Excellent verbal, written and analytical skills with attention to detail
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude
